Happy Birthday Ella!!!!

We finally told her that all of the flags in the lawn aren't really for her.
She had this great idea that because there were flags it meant it was a holiday, therefore, no school.
She is enjoying school at the moment and we were glad to be smart enough to let her know it was a day of remembrance and not a holiday. PLAN FOILED! Once in a while a parent does outsmart their kid.

Happy Birthday Ella! Have your mommy get some princess flags for your house to celebrate your special day. I'm sure she doesn't have anything else to do...

Great idea, Julia! I can just see April posting Princess Flags out front. Happy Birthday dear Ella cha cha cha! April - aren't you going to list your ten favorite things about Ella? You love cheesey stuff like that!

Cute little Ella, happy happy day. I can't believe she is already that old. How are you feeling, how much longer do you have by the way?

I wish I could think of something cleaver to write back, but since I can't I will write what Brinlie wants me to write:"I also had fun at kindergarten, but I didn't love or wasn't happy when I didn't get the beads. Happy Birthday Ella." She has been most upset by this not getting to play with the beads at school. One day it will be her turn, but alas. Patience is not a virtue ANY of my kids have I suppose.

My sweet Ella Bella! I was in Disney World on her big day and we were so out of touch that we actually asked the waitress why the flags were at half staff. When she reminded us, I said, "Oh I should have known that. It's my granddaughter's birthday." The cute waitress came back to the table with a personalized pin and birthday card. Maybe it's a good thing to have your grandma miss your bday.
